The Florida School Food Service Association (FSFSA) is the professional association for state and local school food service directors, supervisors, food service managers, food service assistants, and nutrition educators throughout Florida. FSFSA was formed in 1950 after the National School Lunch Act of 1946 through the merger of the Food Service Directors Conference and the National Cafeteria Association. Head quartered in Tallahassee, we currently serve more than 7,500 members and are affiliated with the American School Food Service Association which serves more than 65,000 members nationally.

Our association is divided into seven regions. Within these regions are local chapters. Local chapters are governed by a Board of Directors who are elected annually by their membership. Chapters meet monthly and provide educational programs as well as social events.
